FC Dallas will stroll into Colorado to take on the Rapids this Saturday March 1st. FC Dallas is coming off a big 2-1 win vs Houston in which they took full advantage of some Houston blunders in the 2nd half of the match to open up the 2025 MLS Season in winning fashion.
Colorado on the other hand wasn’t as lucky in their first match in which they took on St Louis City in which they ended in a 0-0 draw in which they sent a barrage of shots totalling 17 with 5 being on target. However, they were bestest by St Louis Keeper Bürki in the showdown.
The Rapids are also coming off an 1-0 Loss to LA Galaxy in which they had a totally different showing on offense which saw them not net a single shot on target for the entire match officially eliminating them from the CONCACAF champions cup tournament.
FC Dallas will surely look to continue some of their Second half magic from Saturday’s match and hopefully do a little bit better job of keeping the ball as they lost in Ball Possession and allowed 4 more shots than they had. The Rapids have only mustered up 3 goals in their last 5 matches and have been shutout in the last 2. This will surely be a game where we will want to see the Dallas defense work as one and not let up many chances in the zone.
Be sure to Catch the Match on Apple TV+ with the MLS Pass on Saturday night at 8:30 CST as FC Dallas look to defeat the Rapids for the first time since April of 2022. Starting the season of 2-0 would be a great confidence setter for the club as they begin this long journey of the 2025 MLS Season.
